Ambassador Boomgaarden talks to Pupils about Syria

Ambassador Boomgaarden welcomed pupils from Heysham High School at the German Embassy in London today to honour their engagement for human rights in Syria.

The pupils were accompanied by David Morris, MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale, who presented their petition in the House of Commons on 10 July.

16-year-old Philipp von der Wippel from Munich initiated the campaign with his friends while attending Heysham High School last year. We will continue to do our best to help the Syrian people build a stable, free and safe country where human dignity is held in the highest regard”.

David Morris MP added: “I'm extremely proud to represent these young people. I hope that governments around the world will continue to work to remove this Syrian regime."
